Help, I need help downloading Auditon

I know where to get the download and all, but It won't work on my computer I have a brand new compaq laptop that I tried downloading it on. And I tried the rest of my computers the software goes on but the game itself won't come up.

Reinstall DirectX. The latest is 9.0c and it's a free download from M$.
