[Help] Korean 5.33 client

Respected Moderator,

I tried to use my 2.05 Server with Epi. 4 n 5 Maps implemented, with Korean ver. 5.33 client. I was succesfully able to connect to server. But when i saw the Character selection screen, my character's looked weired. Some character's Hand's, legs and Head were missing :rofl1:
Then when i selected one character and tried to log in to World, as soon as i logged into world my Client Exited and i was kicked frm server.

Can any one help and guide me how to run that server with normal graphics. Is there any way to make that Client work with 2.05 Server?

Difference in the item files on the client and the server side.

Thnx for replying. I hav made the item files of Server too. i.e taken fm Korean 5.33 client.
I cant sort this problem. I dont know whats wrong in my server files. I hav taken all the Maps frm client, item files.
Is there any other thing missing?

Please help me out.

BTW, When are you releasing your Server 5.00... we all RZ ppl are waiting for that Grand Server.

Well, if your client is getting disconnected while entering a map it means that the map file is missing from your client or the client and server files are different. Check your map files.

Regarding the missing graphics as Ins@ne said you are missing item files too.

BTW, When are you releasing your Server 5.00... we all RZ ppl are waiting for that Grand Server.

He is doing a great work for us. We need to pay him a tribute and that would be giving him "Time"!!

I have taken Maps frm 5.33 client and made them to run in Server. If i make a new charactr and log into town as soon as i see my character my client exits.

I will again make the item files into the server, and try.

and Has anyone able to run that client with 202/205 server?

Well make 1 thing clear to me. Are you using the Episode V Client EXE file (A3Client.exe) or are you using Episode III Client EXE?? Because what i feel is that Episode V Client EXE file is not fully compatible with Episode III Login Server. That is what must have been making your client crash!

hes using client epi 5 with server epi3, he gets kicked out from the server not because of maps, but because of the way client, server n sql interact with each other..

the client of epi5 "maps" the database through server to sql not in the order that sql can accept like it did with epi3 client.... n also the zoneserver.exe must be decoded according to the a3client.exe of epi5...

so its not the graphic that we talkng about, its the database...
for example in epi3, lets say the sword warr glove is 1000, maybe in epi5 this code is change, maybe its not anymore 1000...

n maybe te database which is we always do is ASD, HSDB n etc etc is changing too...

maybe server for epi5 don have this database anymore substitute by another name of db... not to mention about table in the db, completely change maybe? who knows?

so its the items u cant see that makes ur char don have hands, head, etc..its not the items files.. its the database n the code is not available to the server files n the db..

try not to wear anything upon the creation of ur char... i think u might see the perfect naked char... u can do that by removing the codes on ur sql db.. but however u will get disconnect from ur server when ur char will be transfer from char selection screen to the available maps...

All that you mentioned happens because of incompatibility. Editing of DB's is not necessary to fix it.
