[Help] L2 Updater L2J

hi, im trying to get an updater working for my server but i keep getting a gameguard error, it downloads fine when i run the updater. But at the login screen.. game guard error over and over..


Theres a config file that has this in it

[main]
CustomName=L2Updater.exe
Server=127.0.0.1
ModHost=1

I changed the 127.0.0.1 to my server's IP but i still got a gameguard error, i checked my host file and the updater added lines to my host file like nprotect.lineage2.com with my IP before each line. But i dont know what im doing wrong, can i disable gameguard? or am i suppose to upload the gameguard files to my server and download it that way?

btw theres really no name for the updater its just labeled "L2Updater"

p.s. anyone have dynasty armor should pads?

which updater do you use?? try to rename the l2updater to updater in custom name.

After i use the upbuilder, which is used to create the patch and make the files into rars. It puts them into a folder named "Upload" I uploaded everything to there on my FTP but the settings.ini is not in there. Its in the folder outside of it in the same folder as upbuilder.exe and upload.

Is there a way i can just disable gameguard?

You should get your ip you will not have errors gameguard
