Hello everyone. I hope you guys can help me out with this stuff. I want to set up a WoW server for a small LAN with some friends. I've been trying to find information about this a lot already, but all information I find is either fragmented, outdated or incomplete.
I couldn't find a comprehensive source yet where I can read up on the topic as a whole. It's either a short tutorial on how to compile a server, or on how to change things in the database and stuff like that. It all requires that you know what to do and only tells me bits and pieces. I'm looking for a information source where I can read up on everything in it's entirely. From the server, over the configuration, maintaining it, where to get everything, and how to actually use the server (my friends I want to play with never played WoW before).
Can anyone point me to such documents or other information resources? (Wikis, Homepages or whatever). I'd really appreciate it.
