Help me in creating characters w/o ranCP

help pls. i don't know how to create a character account, I already read the forum, but i can't view the db.UserInfo. Any one willing to share their backup files specially RanUser.bak?

I did it already. Should i attach the items.mdb to the databse or should I leave it as is?

leave it as is... all you have to do is open the config then change the server name of your own server name... also change the password to your own

sir smarkies what is the use of ranHOME and can u teach me how to config it?? i open the config and this is what u've done

Read from the sticky thread. If you want to serve it on Lan Just Change the Server cfg with the Land address of your Server PC, and your RanClient param.cfg points to ServerPC's IP.

Ex:

Your ServerPC with Lan Address: 192.168.0.1
Then change your RanClients param.cfg IP add to: 192.168.0.1

Maybe you extracted on wrong directory.
Extract Ran Home at this directory C:\RAN_HOME

And the config:
ServerName\SQLEXPRESS
RANUSER
RanSHOP
RANGAME1
Password

this file 100% working for me but can i have request? when i register an account using this reg files i see TYPE: GM,User how to disable GM creation? like only User.

Just open the UserInfo on the RanUser and open the table, change da UserName and UserID into your own as well as the password.
