i have this problem same like you when i make my first cabal server.i pretty sure that you use a wrong ip in centos.first of all youu need a router and your centos ip cant be se like windows ip.reinstall youre centos corectly will fix your problem

about xp_md5 it must be run in master database execute this in query analiser on master database EXEC SP_ADDEXTENDEDPROC 'xp_md5','xp_md5.dll'
