[Help] minimap in A3 client

Hi,
I downloaded a client (around 450 mb) which was required for TTA3 server.
The problem is that most of the high level maps doesn't have a minimap.
I am not able to locate my party members in c3,s2, etc, etc.

Is there any way I can add more files or anything I can do to have that minimap facility.

There is nothing you can do.
Ask the owners of the server to edit the files from their side. These Server files are pretty bugged and some of the stuff are often missing. You just need to add them on yourself.

Nobody can Solve the problem , all of the A3 part III and par IV ,v have this problem....:2gunsfiring_v1:

The problem can be solved. All you need to do is add in a few extra strings from the server side. You guys are not able to witness them even on Part IV because of the same problem.

Do you have the part IV files? If then edit them. But if you are playing from the client side - then ask your server admin to do so.

Please refer to the map files on both the server and the client side. For the maps with the missing mini map you will observe that four bytes are missing. You need to insert those 4 bytes

and Voila, you have your mini map.

Hi iNs@nE, can you only upload 1 file may say S1 both server and client for examples. Or can you give sample 4 bytes for one map ? Then every one can go on. Hope you can help us.

No. That wont happen. Because the missing bytes needs to converted into hexadecimal first and then be inserted and apart from the first total string byte value should also be increased by four.

Hi iNs@nE, if i copy the map 1 which already have mimimap and rename it ,do everything with clien and server ,when i enter it ,can i see the new map's minimap ? i think it will b show bcos the map 1 have mimimap , is it right ? tks

You intend to replace the Map 1 with some other map file and intend to see that map file of that particular map??

Howz that even possible? if you replace the Map file of map 1 with the one u wanted .. you will still have to edit all the the values for that map so that they match in with the client side..

Instead just adding in these bytes is much easier and convenient.

minimap is handled in client, not the server.

Nope.

If client did handle it - then why does every client used have the same problem?? SENSE please..

And yes, unless a few changes are done on the server sides. No matter what the mini-map wont appear. Thank You.
