I might recommend getting at least 1 GB of ram on a laptop.. ti is upgradeabel after you purchase, you jsut need to check with the manufacturer or whomever you may be purchasing it from..

Dells do good laptops and their warranty is excellent.

And is that a used one or one on clearance? 99% of new computers come with vista and not XP Home.

Actually running XP Home on a dual core CPU is stupid as it doesn't support more then one core. Hence why all of them were sold with XP Pro or XP MCE.

Anyways. You really need to get one with 1gb of RAM. 512mb isn't enough especially with Vista.

And a 4-cell battery is weak. You really should get a 6-9 cell one. 4-cell wont give much battery life.

NoPeace - out
