try using other hex editor

alternatively where you put your IP
lets say 12.345.678.90
Between 12 and 345 = 1 DOT . click this Dot and in left side HEX view, it must say 2e change to 00 all the dots between the ip and recheck.
also open main.exe too and search for "connect" 2 times, it will say also some IP there.. just change it too incase.
then u did not edit server side ip's correct?
edit only mapserverinfo.dat and connectserver/data/serverlist.dat
