Yay! I finally got my l2server working, but Im having problems with logging in and accounts. I do not have IIS and my trial has expired on asp. I have tried logging in with usernames and passwords that i just put into the database, but they do not work. It keeps saying incorrect password for account. I understand that the passwords need to be encrypted, but I have no idea how to do this without using asp pages. Could someone give me a sql file of accounts with already encrypted passwords or something like that? I only need a few accounts coz this is for me lan.

Hello? Is anyone there? I really need some help here. How can I encrypt a password and insert it into the database without using any webserver or asp? I have tried using l2encrypt to encrypy a password but when i put it into the database, it shows up as 0x00000000000000000000000000000000 which i think is wrong.

you need to use the file name "l2pass.exe" to encrypt password

When I put in my password, do I put the one in from the database or my real password? So if me real pass is 123456 do I put that in?

I'm curious about this too. I've tried putting in my real one, putting in the one from the db that was given. etc etc. but it still says that PW is incorrect.

Yea i got that password is incorrect too. Im gonna wipe my databases and server and start over this weekend.

I dunno I still get error saying incorrect password even using that l2pass program.
Also tried setting up the asp website but I'm getting SQL errors in that.. Anyone help with either of these problems?

Yay! I got it to login, but 9999 ping on the server. D'oh! I'll go thru all me configs and see whats wrong.

set to 1 dude in l2server.ini should fix your problem
