[Help] Port forwarding

Can anyone help me with port forwarding, I saw the guide on portforwarding .com but i still don't understand what this is about. I'm using a linksys router so how do I port forward xampplite, rose world, character, and login servers. also mysql. Useful if you post a guide cause i wanna learn this....
