[Help] Router issues; Unable to connect

Hello folks

I have set up a WoW server and has forwarded the ports needed because I want it to be ONLINE.

But when I try to login, it keeps showing me the Realm List, when I click my server on the Realm List, it same Realm List comes back. No matter how many times I click my server on the Realms List, it still comes back.
  • All Firewalls on my computer have been disabled.
  • All ports have been forwarded.

Problem might lie with the configs. Please have a look at them.

I have tried ALL the IP that could find to put into the WoW Client, realmlist.wtf

The IPs that I tried are,

LOCAL: 127.0.0.1

I am using Ascent 1595 and I am on BUFFALO WHR G54S router.

The problem is I could not connect to the server because the Realm List keep coming back after I click my server name on the Relam List. I need to fix that.
And I need other people to connect to my server too. Even though I haven't tried to ask anyone to connect yet.



All the information have already been provided, please solve this problem for me.

look in your ascent config, and remove this line from it

Make sure your IP address hasn't changed. I couldn't figure out what was wrong with mine until I discovered my ISP had changed it for the second time in two weeks after leaving it alone for four months.

Done deleting it, but still, I can't connect.

My IP haven't changed.
 
also make sure you have both the die directive deleted, there were 2 located in Ascent config in differn't areas
If server for outside, make 2 realms, one for wan second for lan

<LogonServer Address = "127.0.0.1" change to lan ip

then down there change this to

Yes it works now. :D But does both servers connect? As in if im on LAN, does people on WAN network able to be playing at the same time with me?
 
by putting the # in front of die directives, your telling it to ignore them, you don't have to delete the line.
also not sure why some ppl have this problem and others don't. I use a router, forwarded ports thru my firewall, and use your first configuration with only 1 realm
Problem may be that you don't have ports forwarded thru both firewall and router
 
Umm GMaze we got it working last night with what I told him to do

maybe you should do same if you got proublems follow steps I said

Also double check or tripple check your ports, errors in console, remove dir directives make 2 realms, way i said, and make sure all your configs are correct.
 
Resinate what core release is the changelog you looked at? I using Ascent 1722 now and i keeping it up for about few hours before it blocks players, I dont know why.
