[HELP] Strange Connection Speed

Well i have Rogers Cable,

I can download at usually 200kbps, and my uplaod speed is 100kbps


BUT

just this week, my upload speed is 400kbps ?
i think my DL speed is suppose to be higher i think something is wrong

depends on a lot of things really, how big the file is, how many users are on the server/site, how many people are using the internet in your area, how close the server is.. or maybe you got upgraded who knows.

But speed testing is usually VERY inaccurate so don't take that it is what it says.

You should do every day speedtest.net if there is an patern in it.

dude. dont worry its apsalutly normal if you have an internet like me or live in a place like me(england)
i live in a zone where the internet cables are REALY rusty (aka: SH*T) im paying for 8mbs downloads.
and im downloading at 40-125kb/s all the time. (i got wireless)
im getting it upgraded to 10mb/s for free coz i complained and they said its not fair yadayadayada and
they will give me 10mb/s for the price of 8mb/s

happens.
also it depends on how many peple are on. and the weather. if its raining, usualy it will be crap.
if its sunny and hot, you'll have a good internet.

Its just one of those moments. I'll take a random guess here, and accuse the Internet service provider for this. Their servers are probably having a dull day, and when things brighten up, the speed will be as usual.

Also make sure that if you are using a wireless adapter, that it is plugged in to the face of the computer, not plugged into any USB extention cords or keyboards; this generally slows the opperation down.
