I have an 1.00.08 server, and I have a problem here that every 12 minutes logged chars receive DC... with this result in GS log.

WSARecv() failed with error 10038
........

It happens at all times... to all chars, no matter if they are moving, stopped, warping...in event or else.

I tried reviewing settings, also used the settings as files are distributed... changed Joinserver, Connect Server... tried starting only 1 GS... used other GSs provided with the same work basis [antiafk, more opts] but no luck. I

Thanks for the reply... but you see, I used some other versions of servers there as well [97d+99/99b+/1.00.16...] and in all of them, the problem is still the same... 12 minutes.. and a following dc... weird, uh?

Hi, sry for bumping this old post, but I have finally figured out the problem I have.

My problem was defined after lots of tests as a processor clock problem... which was time-running slower than expected to do (about -1 minute for every regular hour, checked with atomic clock)... and that for MultiPlayer games is crucial. That is why I had always DC at the same time... and so did my friends.

The only solution I had was to change hardware processor, and right after I did that, my problem was totally solved, without changing anything in setup I previously had done.

Cya!

As I said, there was nothing to do with any server settings. That was a hardware problem... I changed my cpu and it worked smoothly.

Once again thx, but that had nothing to do with server settings...
