Alright I have an older PC that I don't use much, but I'm considering putting it to some use..The current specs are very bad, But I'll post em anyway.

So I'm looking for some parts that I could upgrade, I'm finding that DDR memory is becoming expensive...but in order to change my motherboard to support DDR2, I'd have to get a new processor also..So if anyone could recommend maybe a special deal on something like that I'd really appreciate it..

Thanks everyone :D

Update your hard drive to 500 gb. Much more space. Just in case, by to 500gb for hard drives. For speakers, get some big ass speakers... it'll own.

**** ok i had a long reply and my browser decided to be gay, so heres the main points. Also all my prices are in AUD, convert them to whatever you want if needed (USD is roughly 1/2 that)

1. Dont get a 500gb u dont need it, get the cheapest SATA you can find if your current is PATA.
2. Leave your onboard GFX unless ur gonna play games on it.
3. CPU - AM2 Athlon 4400+ $90 AUD
4. Mobo - Asus M2N-MX SE $60 AUD
5. RAM - Corsair 2gb kit DDR2 PC6400 $90 AUD
