Hi
Where can i change client version?
EX: one client with version 1233
something like this
can someone help me?

it is?
maybe PyePT RPT they change their version on client correct me if im wrong

Not sure if they did or not, but I don't see why you would need to unless you were trying to fool a newer client to run on a older version or something. But either way that would still be pointless.

Maybe for try to create a unrecognized client version for prevent hacks

coz they all have permissions for hacks
=)
im using 1855

Gotchya, either way, I don't think it's 100% necessary to have to change the client version to prevent hacks, but if thats the route you want to take cool. I'll look into it when I get home. I'd still use it even if it was 1855 version client as long as it prevented hacks. :)

U can take the example of BPT (brazilian priston tale) after what they put the X-trap program the server was mass-hacked BPT have suport only for 80b itens and have a lot of ppl using 80d 80e ...
X-trap is easy to hack =)

Changing clients doesn't really prevent much, if the memory addresses and the packet encryption never change, they'll keep on work.

I am so confused, this is what happens when I drink and get no sleep. If your wanting to change the client version to prevent hacks then no that will not work. But I thought he was saying he wanted to edit the server to prevent hacks, and then change the version number because it would be a different client than the latest.

U said all
edit server for prevent hack and after change client
but im noob in hex i can help on few things

You would have to stop script kiddies client side since that is where the abuse is preformed, you could do nothing server side to stop things like god modding or exp hacks (Although their all reported in the server logs), and even if you did release a perfect client that cant be used with hacks, you would have to find a way so that ONLY that client connects or people could just use default clients with the same version to keep on hacking.

If someone really had the PT2 server files they would either A.) Release them, B.) Keep the files to themselves and make a private server or C.) Not make the same mistake again and wait until the files are complete to release them. Plus playing Laxe Lore, Yedang hasn't gotten all that better from the PT1 days, hacking in PT2 will be just as rampant.

Changing the client version is easy. With a little programming background you'd be able to find out within no-time.

I don't think any hack around depends on the client version..
