Hey guys.
I have Centos 4.6 running on VMWare Server.

I have a bridged connection via VMWare, this allows me to ping Windows from Centos, but when I come to pinging Centos to from Windows, it wont let me, it says 'Request timed out.'

It is really confusing, since it lets me ping Centos>Windows but not Windows>Centos.

I have 2 NIC's one for internal and one for external.

Yes this is my mistake. The sections are next to each other in the list and i must have hit the wrong one without realising.

Even mods are human and we do make mistakes on occasion. I have asked the mods here to move it back, admitted my error and given you a good laugh so it isn't a complete waste of time :/
