help with mssql

Well, i download mssql2000 and installed it when i open enterprise manager and want to connect to local its says:A connection could not be established to bla bla and then : Please verify SQL SERVER is running and check your SQL SERVER registration properties ...
And then i go to SQL SERVer Service Manager and click to start the service says i have a flawed appilaction it cant be started. Please help me ...

And sorry my english is not so good i cant speak english ver well but i can understand english very good :kid: but i dont understand how i do that with this Local and bla bla bla :S

Try to reinstall it again , on my other pc I had that problem to
