Hetfield VS. Mustaine

I go with Metallica. I like them better, and James' vocals better. Besides, Metallica is a BAND, working together, while Megadeth is basically... well, as some call it, MegaDave - meaning that Megadeth is basically all about Mustaine. Moreover, I don't like Mustaine because he tends to fight a lot with band members, and that's why Megadeth's members changed so much, while Metallica stayed with a solid line-up.

So, what do you think? Who you prefer?

Hetfield is def the better singer. But, Dave blows him away when it comes to guitar.

I'm more of a Megadeth fan myself. So I'd have to go with Megadeth.

Yeah, as a guitarist I guess that Dave's better. Still, I like James better, he does a good job as a rhythm guitarist, and an excellent job as a vocalist.

That's the thing about Hetfield, he is a rythym guitarist. He's just "ok" nothing more. Kirk Hammet carries that entire band as far as guitar playing. Whereas Dave Mustaine plays lead guitars AND sings. For me, that's the deciding factor.

Well, Everyone has they're own preferences. For me, it's more important how well they work as a group and how well everything gets along together, as a band. But as for how good they are as individual artists, Mustaine is definitely the better guitarist.

I am for Dave mustaine.
I like Megadeth more then Metallica. Vocals are not all to music.
And the latest Metallica albums I can't stand them I only like the old ones.

Well as people said yes Dave is making MegaDave but it's because he was pissed after being kicked out of Metallica because of his drinking problems and decided to make a band that was better then Metallica. And the thing is that they are really Metallicas rivals I see some idiots that can't stand Megadeth or Metallica because they listened to one first. They are both good but at the moment Metallica has not been doing good with there new songs.

An other reason I like Megadeth its because he uses a Dean like me xD
Metallica is on ESP ... but I got the same pickups as Metallica ... well nvm hehe.
