Hello,
Recently I got a dedicated server in San Diego, California. The company is well known, But I dont want to say the name. Well the problem is that we got a server Intel Duo Xeon 2.80GHz, 1GB Ram, Windows Server 2003 Standard.
We are using this server for the game AND website/forum. We are not using any kind of control panel. We are using IIS6, MySQL, & PHP set up by me. No Email Server is set up. No DNS.
Well the problem is that there is a lot of lags in-game!, We can't find what is wrong, we have done many changes with no success. Im posting here to see if someone has a fix for this. I already read about someone posting about overloading, But that thread didn't have a solution so I decided to post it here.
I'm using rev 30, with the lastest database. MySQL 5.0.x
-----------------------------------------------------------------
I'm leaving here some screenshots to see if you can find a solution to this.
This is what we have tried.
-Program Priority
-Changed CPU 0 to all 3 executable files.
-Changed CPU 1 to all 3 executable files.
-Optimized Database
-Reinstalled OS 2 times
-Changed of Server Processor from Intel Core Duo to Intel Duo Xeon.
-Upgraded Ram to 2, 4, & 8 Gigabytes. (No changes so we had to downgrade to 1GB)
Any help is really appreciated.
NOTE: IF YOU ARE HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM, DONT POST HERE. WAIT FOR SOMEONE TO POST SOME SOLUTION. I DONT NEED OTHERS TO POST ABOUT THEIR SERVER PROBLEMS. THANK YOU.
