Well first of all, is it possible to connect to your own server on the same comp the server is running on?
As in, to run Server and Client software on the same comp and to connect to that server using the client.

If thats possible, it does not seem to be working for me, svIP.exe keeps giving me errors and in general I cannot connect to my own server after correctly editing my info.dll (IP from start > run > cmd > IPconfig).

Im kinda tired so the above may not be very coherent, sorry.

Any help appriciated.

I can connect to my own comp running server, my info.dll's IP is using 127.0.0.1, and what errors is your svip.exe giving?
