How can you know if it's a good game your playing?

If i'm playing it then i know it... because well i know it...

Otherwise just check gaming sites. I personally use Gamespot a lot, IGN is popular aswell, you can also check metacritic for overall scores (they give a average based on the ratings from all major sites and game magazines)

Yep, always try the demo before playing it. If you get stuck to the game, then buy it

i got addicted to BF: Bad company , by playing the demo, you can tell if its a good game if you always think about it, and are constantly playing it.

The way to know before getting the game would either be reading a bunch of reviews and then seeing if it's something you would like. The best way though would be a demo or some way of checking the game out. You never know how much you like the game until you actually play it. What i do is i have Reviewers/review sites that I've noticed usually agree perfectly with my taste in games, so i always check them. I also make sure to try a demo if there is one.

If your playing a game and you just by chance take a look at the clock and notice 4 hours has passed by really fast....then its a good game ^_^

Or if when your not playing the game, you keep thinking about it...then that would also make it a good game.

If you smash the remote, or start kicking your tv, or fall asleep while playing, then the game probably sucks.
