Uhm... the ONLY way to be sure about that is testing. Anyway i don't think that much.
The connection isn't bad, but cpu and ram are a bit low for a server machine.

I'm just guessing... no more than 30-50 ppl (and your pc will really run slow)

I'm italian there are only few good host for gaming servers.

Is there some kind of formula wich it can be used to see how many user a machine can host ?

I have this config:

Amd athlon 2200+XP
1GB ram
120Gb hdd (don't think this mater)
256Kb upload (the bandwidth) ..it's over Adsl PPPOE

Can it support 50players ?

It aslo depends on Antrix configurations (you can spend less bandwitch but more cpu changing some options), but i think that 256kb in upload aren't enough to host 50 ppl WITHOUT lag.
I don't know any formula, so i still think the same thing... just test it

100 meg line and u have 256 ram? at that kind of money i would thro a few sticks of 512 or 1 gigers. in

if u had 2+ gigs. of ram on that using antrix u can hold 700 to 1000 ppl ez.
