Go into your maplecharacter.java and look for
Code:
 	}
		if (speed > 140) {
			speed = 140;
		}
		if (jump > 123) {
			jump = 123;
		}
then change the numbers to the speed you want
and for mounts look for this (which is right below)
Code:
                speedMod = speed / 100.0;
		jumpMod = jump / 100.0;
		Integer mount = getBuffedValue(MapleBuffStat.MONSTER_RIDING);
		if (mount != null) {
			jumpMod = 1.23;
			switch (mount.intValue()) {
				case 1:
					speedMod = 1.5;
					break;
				case 2:
					speedMod = 1.7;
					break;
				case 3:
					speedMod = 1.8;
					break;
				default:
					log.warn("Unhandeled monster riding level");
			}
		}
And the change the speedMod to you want-,case 1 is the lvl 70 mount and so on
Btw I haven't had the change to try this so this is still in theory

EDIT:I just tried it and it seems to be not working but am gonna leave this here because it might be a key to make it work later

Have you tested this at all..

I tried this, it's not what you think it is. There's a lot more to change then just that. You'll get compiling errors with that.
A patch would be a perfect example of what.

Re: [RELEASE]How to change Speed/Jump caps including mount's speeds

To change the mount speed, go to your xmlwz files.
Look for Tamingmob.wz.
Then you should see 3 files:
0001.img.xml,0002.img.xml and 0003.img.xml
First one is the pig, second one is the man and third is Draco.
Open it up and you should see
Code:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes"?>
<imgdir name="0001.img">
	<imgdir name="info">
		<int name="speed" value="150"/>
		<int name="jump" value="120"/>
		<float name="fs" value="10.0"/>
		<float name="swim" value="100.0"/>
		<int name="fatigue" value="5"/>
	</imgdir>
</imgdir>
edit:
Code:
	            <int name="speed" value="150"/>
		<int name="jump" value="120"/>
Then go to maplecharacter.java and look for these:

Code:
if (mount != null) {
			jumpMod = 1.23;
			switch (mount.intValue()) {
				case 1:
					speedMod = 1.5;
					break;
				case 2:
					speedMod = 1.7;
					break;
				case 3:
					speedMod = 1.8;
					break;
				default:
					log.warn("Unhandeled monster riding level");
			}
		}
Change 1.5, 1.7 or 1.8 to your new tamingmob speed but devided by 100.
Ok i don't need to explain anymore.

Does this work?
