is your internal network 192.168.0.1? are you using a Cisco or another type of router?

The 127.0.0.1 are loopbacks and are fine.

I use VirtualBox and i reinstall the file server again and now work i see the server and i can play !!!

I use TGCabalEP8 with insternal file
I have a cisco EPC3825

192.168.0.1 are the gateway to rooter
192.168.0.16 are windows 7 ultimate (phisical )
192.168.0.17 are Centos 5.9 in VBOX

Can you tel me how i put the server online for the public?

I have a problem.
When I launch the bat file of cabal-start.bat, the launcher comes up, I press play and nothing happens.
Also I have noticed that my processes are stoping (same as the other users, from ChatNode_01 right to the last one).
I have tried starting them by single commands but they are only switched on for maybe a few seconds.

My internal file is set up correctly and i have set up [service cabal config] correctly like it is said in the guide (I hope so.)
I used SkyCabal client.

Does any one know how to solve this ?

1) When launching cabal-start.bat... you should have no launcher with a play button.
2) To start your services type service ChatNode_01 start. Same with all non started ones. then install the new start command that was released Service Cabal new commands - hefajstos

What happens is:

I click on cabal-start.bat which is located in my client folder.
The launcher shows up as it would normally if I was to play that server and starts updating.

I have copied the Data folder from the patch and put it in client folder.
My infernal file is located in SkyCabal/Data and it looks like this:

Services still keep on stopping.

For example, I start the server via [service cabal start]
It shows all of the services are [OK]
Next I type the command service cabal status and all of services down from ChatNode_01 are stopped,
so than I switch them on manually one by one by the command service ChatNode_01 start.

Still the same problem with the processes.
They keep on stopping and yes it's the same ones as before.
I have downloaded the newest Vbox and installed it and still the same thing happens.

i have a problem i installed everything my all services runs normally. i type my id and pw in client and when i press Okey buton "Moving to Select Seerver Screen" appears then fastly disappears

Hello guys, All services are running....got the client..replaced the internal file ....if someone could just tell me how to register an account into the db...it would be greatly appreciated. I've read four guides on ep8 thus far and all four stopped after..."starting the client". So...any help with this would be awesome. (Maybe it should even be stickied). Just tried to register account (dbo.cabaltool.register account ) query ended with errors. account not registered. Also...when we edit the client patch...do we need to change the port value? (for instance...to 1433) or leave it alone ? and both IPs change to Centos Ip ? Oh..and here is the errors I got when executed cabaltool.... Msg 8152, Level 16, State 11, Procedure cabal_tool_registerAccount, Line 6 String or binary data would be truncated. The statement has been terminated. Msg 515, Level 16, State 2, Procedure cabal_tool_registerAccount, Line 12 Cannot insert the value NULL into column 'UserNum', table 'Account.dbo.cabal_charge_auth'; column does not allow nulls. I tried both xp_md5.dll (32) and xp_md5_64.dll ...I placed each in a different loction (multiple times) and still have the same registering error ....could anyone share their Account table...or a means to fix this and register an account please ?

Anyone? Please reply. Many of us are looking for the same answer on this. personally, I think any guide should have server setup AND client setup instructions...beginning to end....why would anyone make a guide and stop in the middle ?? I think that could be one of the biggest reasons why there are so many people asking soooooo many questions (most of which are the same ones) ....ALL the guides I have read have stopped at patching the client....NONE of the guides on the ep8 files have explained how to create an account....NONE of the guides on the ep8 files even mention the xp_md5.dll at all. And the people that have been fortune enough to figure it out....are being very tight lipped about it. It's horribly frustrating to almost get things working and then run into a brick wall.
So...could someone kindly explain why we are getting the error when trying to register an account?? Does it have anything to do with the columns within the database NOT allowing Nulls ??

i had same problem, i think u need to use (CentOS-5.8-i386-bin-DVD), not x86 or x64...

for me, it seems to be an internal communication problem. is your firewall enabled? try "service iptables stop" and then restart the cabal services
