How to create a private server

Ok, i dont wish to compete with Ascent or Mangos but would just like to make my own server so i know how people actually make one.

I wrote a dll that injected itself into wow.exe that hooked send() and recv() and i get

Hooked successfully ...
Now listening ...

why dont you just look at what other emus has done and rewrite the encryption and packethandling? much easier, especially if you cant break the encryption on your own which alone would be a waste of time...
