how to make custom sprites and item?

i found how to make custom wings, but i not sure about accessory/armor and garment all that. so anyone can tell me whats the changes?

and i want to make sprites for wings,and custom items for my server, anybody can help me?? or giv me a link to let me learn? thanks for reading and replying=)
