How to make Xfire work for your private server

Open up xfire_games.ini with wordpad.
Find

Now replace it with REMEMBER TO EDIT THE PARTS IN RED:

Legend:
Launcherexe-Whats the exe file for your server example: Ragezonems.exe
ShortName-Example: RMS this is the short name for your server
LongName-What you call your server fully example: RageStory

I didn't say it wasn't useful i needed this myself, since i didn't know the trick. But i would've not posted it in this community since everytime he posts everyoen just curses him off & so forth. I have no idea why they do it so im not against him...

no problem. Yes i don't really care if people mouth me because I know that they spend there whole life on the computer and doesn't have a life away from the keyboard.

actually only several people just bash on me, and i dont really care. If I knew them I would kick there asses. If anyone lives in Myrtle Beach that bashes me, ill tell them to come to the hotel im in and ill whoop their asses.

Well the good thing is he hasn't responded back to those people who flame him and all that cause he would just start more fights, the flaming against him has reduced alot since a couple months ago

try your xfire folder in your
C:\Program Files\xFire

For vista it should be in C:\ProgramData\Xfire

well this is useful, but i think that ventrilo is far more efficient

true but you have to pay for ventrillo if you want more than 8 people online at once.
