How to move database secure?

I have plan to move my database to other server, is there any guide on how to move that secure without losing any data? or anyone here would help me with their experience. I use MSSQL2005 Express Edition with 64 bit platform. Thank you

You might find some people suggest backing up just the mdf/ldf file and attaching it on the new server and i would not suggest that way as you can run into problems that you would not if you used a proper backup method like the one above.
