I am using The repacks which do not require mysql and the like, currently shiv's mangos amber. My question is, when a new package is released, how does one update without losing all website work?
I have downloaded and used mysql and the GUI's (both navicat and sqlyog) just to back things up, but every time I try to update to a new repack, it always fails.
Any help in this matter will be greatly appreciated.
Also, for the ones not using repacks, is there a guide on how to properly update your database when a new release comes out?
