Hey all i was j/w how you set the Server online i no u use ur PC ip but carnt seem to get it to work so i j/w if some 1 can shed some light on it please thanks

the gate address can be set to 127.0.0.1 for routers and direct conections there needs to be 3 files altered

in the dbsvr folder open !serverinfo.txt

127.0.0.1 internetIPhere 7200

in the login server folder open !addrtable.txt

ServerName ServerName 127.0.0.1 internetIPhere internetIPhere:7100

and in mir200 open !runaddr.txt

internetIPhere

also if you are on a router, you will need to forward the ports in there: 7000,7100,7200 (and 3000 if you intend to use Leo's siggy, servercount software) to the internal ip of the server host machine 192.***.***.* usually

you need to change every ip address from 127.0.0.1 - what every your ip address is.

Dont change the ip addresses that are set to 0.0.0.0

weve had 2.3 files online a few times with just those 3 ips changed to external ips, and router forewarding set up to internal ip of the server,, and peeps outside our network connecting?

yes, that is the ip address that you need in your files, and also that is the ip that you will need in the mir2.ini file

on a side note, not tried it, but does a "no ip address" work in the ini?

ok check that all his ports are forwarded (good check for this is.... if you are connected to net via network cable click on "local area connection" or what ever it is beside ur clock, select the support tab, if ur net ip is the same as the what is my ip.com it should work fine if not he he hasnt forwarded his ports also check his router firewall and windows firewall)
