I need help with Navicat !!!!!!

I made a connection

connection name - localhost
ip- localhost
port- 3306
user- root
pass- root

When i test it a error comes up and says

1130 - Host `localhost` is not allowed to connect to this MySQL server.

I reinstalled SQL and Navicat and it sill dose not work. Dose Any One have a idea how to fix? Please and Thanks!

change ur mqsyl serv pass maby u dont have any pass so leave the ''pass:root'' Change it in ''passblank)''

I tryed it withput a password and i have the same problem. Dose any one ells have suggestions?

i had same problem,

start up WAMP 5
then go apach, en watch if the server is running if not click start.

then go to navicat and try again, it solved my problem
