If you had the choice to go back into time and prevent, fix, or recreate anything what would it be?

I would go back into time when Adolf Hitler ruled and shoot him in the back.

I'd personally like to go forward into the future to see past my time.
If I had to go back in time it would be around the 17th century where I could be innovative and bring new ideas, while still lacking the necessary technology to radically change the passed. I doubt my presence in the past would create too many ripples into the future, but it's possible the butterfly effect may take hold.

Frankly it's probably not the best idea to go fucking around in our past. That is unless you take multiple universes into account, which is entirely possible when dealing with time travel. You wouldn't be changing this current time line, but one that had already been effected by your meddling.

/agree, its dangerous to change stuff in the past... even killing a fly can create so much change... but if it wouldnt create change, i would go back a couple of years ago, invest in the market and in google and stuff and be rich now! hehe , but i would do soo much stuff if it was possible...

Hitler unified the German people and helped them regain their sense of pride, he stabilized the German economy and eliminated foreign debt, he also created the modern autobahn system and encouraged the development of the Volkswagen oh and probably most importantly he encouraged the development of jet aircraft, and rocket development.
