Introduction to Cabal

As you know and can see... I'm a new member I'd like to introduce myself as well as hear from you guys about how you feel towards Cabal Online.

First off, My name is Joel! I'm currently assisting a Cabal Online Developer who goes by the name "chumpywumpy" in this board. We're currently working very hard with the whole mess and we're currently experimenting with the server itself.

Experimenting as in: discovering bugs, fixing bugs and everything else that flows in that category! Get it? Alright.. as of now we've been running around dungeons testing equipment, annihilating bosses and getting owned by mobs in the server.

We're currently in the process of working with few warps that disconnect the users from the server we experienced one today while doing a quest which I believe was... the Aura quest or something like that when heading into the training arena after a while I attempted it again and this time things went swell I don't know if chumpy fixed the bug or perhaps it was my connection but yeah things worked out fine.

Uh.. what else can I say.. well I suppose that's all so yeah me and a good friend are assisting him in every way possible I've been working with "chumpy" I don't know why the hell he picked that weird name but hey he's weird when he wants to be I guess? :/

As I was saying... yeah striving hard and yadah-yadah working hard to bring 100% out of this project.

Last but not least how do you guys feel towards Cabal? Do you enjoy the system overall? What do you look to having implemented in the future? Stuff like that you know things you expect let me know!

welcome. most of the dc problems we are having atm is a result of server - client desynch.
we need a universal base client where we can all test equally, then work together to fix remaining "true" bugs.

feel free to post your progress, and your bugs, so that we might crosscheck and work to solve together.

VE is an old friend who has only just got into Cabal. He has helped me with projects in the past and a i wanted a friendly face to help me out with my own server. I suggested he sign up here so he can read a little more about Cabal p servers in general.

@VE - WE didn't get owned by the bosses it was just you Still, we did throw you straight at Bederk which was a bit cruel.

Maybe if you protected me better I wouldn't have died but no worries I'm good now remember how we went into that dungeon and annihilated 3 bosses like it was simple wet work last night? LOL, they didn't know what hit em'. Anyways uh... what's going on with the server chumpy I tried to logon but it seems that the Network got deleted?

Also, thanks for the warm welcome guys I appreciate it! Of course I will gladly report anything I've found alongside chumpy or on my own while questing and stuff! I just might create a new thread and post bugs found, fixed, repair in progress, being looked into and etc. If someone has already made that thread I guess I'll just post there.

Welcome to you "friend of chumpy" if your truely new to cabal, then i have only 1 peice of advice for you.. you skill level makes more of a difference then your character level. though im sure you already realize that.
