Hmm I'm currently using iRose v81 server with v131 Client.
I was wondering if I update my client from the official website to the latest version and extract the 3Ddata into my server's database, would my game work normally?

yes it should.
That is what it was designed to do.
just make sure you get all the STBs, QSDs and AIPs

If they changed stuff in the IFO files (like adding a new NPC) then you wouldn't see the changes in your server unless you dumped the IFO data and remade your npcdata table in your DB
other than that you should be fine.

purple you can not make a guide with pictures or something easier to understand how to do this

????

thx

What you mean extracting STB, QSD and AIP from the client?
Check my guide on getting item ids out of your client.
You will need to use exactly the same method as that but with QSD and AIP files as well.

If you guys really need it then I will put something together when i get some free time.

1) Download and Update your client
2) Use a VFSeditor to extract the STB, QSD and AIP files
3) Backup, delete and replace the old files in your 3Ddata folder (located with your server files) with the extracted ones.
4) Restart your server if you have it on and you should have it working fine, except for cases where your tables needs to be updated such as adding in a new NPC in a following patch.
