Item Types Mir3

I have a problem with an NPC merchant. I wish for no items to be spawned, only sold to by GMs to prevent duplication, however, when i sell them, they do not show up, i believe this is due to Item Types being incorrect. Therefor can anyone tell me TWO item types that are used nowhere else that would work in this capacity? AND/Or if my error is caused by something else.

Well Im not 100% sure what you mean - so let me guess and you can maybe point me in the right direction.

You have a NPC that you wish only GM's can Sell to, the npc works but it does not show up in the shop? Maybe (guess this) the item did sell to the shop but as you dont have updated file on your client its not showing it? I cant recall off hand what the file is called but is this what you mean?

Not quite m8, if i placed item in shop in txt file, it will spawn and show fine, but when i sell, it doesn't. I believe this is because im using item type +44 but im not sure (i have included +44 at the top of the file).

Well the Items Type the shops can buy and sell are linked to the type on the STDITEMS so for example take Weapons - they are 6.

I think i know what you mean now - the items that dont actually do anything as such - say Zuma Relic for example and others? If thats the case then i dont think it will show up.

This reminds me of my Guild Store idea actually - the idea was simple enough - have a shop in a map that onlyt that guild can get to - then have the NPC check you had the key (Guild Leaders) and then you could sell and buy from shop - but a store if you like because only the person holding the key could actually work the shop.

Now this worked (including your items that dont do anything - such as Zuma Relic etc) and it showed up as i remember but if the server was rebooted for some reason it would empty the shop - even though it stored all the rest of the shops on reboot - odd.

My only thought at this time was i had too many items listed maybe and gave up on the Idea.
