My course at uni has about twice to three times as many assignments as any other course seeing as it only has 1 exam.
the exam is gone and along with a good 30-40% of my class I was working on my assignments for their fail dates rather than hand in dates.
Last night, working on my Level design and map on Illustrator, only had a tiny amount left to do, but just like my previouse attempts it spazzed out after saving the document.
Now this stoppped being a problem when I figured a way around it but last night, after all the work that I did, it crashed.
Illustrator crashed.
Undoing hours of work.
And pissing me right off.
So I thought, hang on, I'll just go in to uni in the morning and finish it there.
I woke up this morning, early, and went in to uni.
It took me a good 20 mins to find a working computer.
As soon as I do and I open up my illustrator file.
BAM!
it tells me that my file was from a newer version of illustrator and would I like to import it.
I import the file.
I look at it.
****!!
the goddamn thing screwed me over. It didn't include everything in the file, on the map which was in the page margins.
I was pissed, again.
I had another brainwave.
Head home, convert the file or print out everything and finish it of with a pen (all it needed was some text).
Got home, waited 10 minutes for the lift, got too my room and too the realisation that even if I converted the file and edited it. I wouldn't have time to hand it in.
My stupid school office (the uni is seperated ihn to schools, also known as faculties) closes at 12 am.
I went round to a few mates to see if anyone had a working printer, guess what.
all out of ink.
now I'm fucked, pissed off and with nothing to show for it.
The actuall fail date for all of this is monday but since monday is bank holiday the office is closed.
Which means not only did I have to hand it in today, but the valuble time through the weekend which I could have used to complete all my work was gone.
I want to hurt something or someone.
