Keep DCin buying skill books/npc load

When i buy a certain type of skill book it DC's me, saying the TRose has errored.

Why is this happening?


Also, when i go to where a NPC is suppose to be, i have to wait bout 10 - 20 seconds before it appears? Why.

The TRose error is caused by differing STB's in the server and client. Opent eh client with a VFS editor and extract LIST_SELL.STB. The lag may just be caused by your computer or the ISC (Inter-Server Communications).

So ur saying that some of my files are screwed up? Also, umm is the rev 80 source buggy? Cause im getting all these weird bugs.

What client are you using? OsRose is bug'ier than OsiRose and definitely Arcturus(Seeing as those are actual files...)

Use another STBs.
It fixed mine.

where can i get the STB for v210? STB + CSV + SQL?
im using osRose only. evo

Crappp! I just read the other post. So the 139 have matching files to the rev80?
But if i use 139 what features does it lack?

Doesn't matter what version of client you use
whichever one you choose, extract its STBs, make them into CSVs and put them in your server (rev 80)
for rev 81 just use the STBs directly.

there is nothing screwed up in your STBs they just don't match.

As for the NPCs not showing up, that's a bad move speed calculation. Your server code is calculating a different move speed than the client so the client doesn't display the NPCs till it thinks it needs to.
The only way to fix that is to recode the server.

Purple, uhh i fixed the NPC thing. It's just the GM shoes being haxed fast. Uhm, so there isnt an STB for my version? Cause editing doesnt work for me. When i edit the npc doesnt even talk.

Of course there is an STB. Without STBs the game wouldn't work at all.

if editing LIST_NPC.STB stops teh npc from talking then you did something seriously wrong

And what do you mean about the GM shoes exactly? What are you trying to do here?

Okay to clear things up. The GM shoes are extremely fast. So they screw up my npc loading time.

The STB's i have no idea how to work. I just wanna use v139 and the server files, and make it work fine. v210 is way too buggy. Is this all easy to do? Cause i really dont know anything bout CSV and STBs.
