keeps saying 'connected'

I installed a antrix server, set up everything right, opened all the ports, but when i try to login with my client, i can see my realm in the realmlist but when im connecting to it it just keeps saying 'Connected'. What can i do about this?
I used all the files from the thread from Karnage.

if have only 1 u must log inmeadiatly

what do you mean with 2 realms? I only have one in realmlist, and only one database for antrix.

It now works after some time, if you press enter for like 50 times it suddenly logs in
But the thing that bothers me that there isnt a '.lookup****' command, no money command and no teleport command, or do they have other names now?

Some are the same, others are different. Do a search and you will find the GM list for antrix.

.set gold could work too i guess, i just use the Antrix codes.

i've a similar problem;
at my first attempt, i've managed to enter the game with no problems. at my second attempt, client stucked at the "connected" screen.
then, i tried lots of thing, nothing was useful but 2 things:

1- restart the machine
2- overwrite the antrix server executables (whole directory) with the newly compiled and never executed ones.

i think it 's strange behaviour. my specs: rev284, winxp32bit, amd2000+, 768mbs of ram...

anyway, for the gold issues, i've a suggestion

.additem 7
for 1000 gold in the pocket
then sell it

Yeah I have that simillar login issue with my server (not sure if others connecting into it have that problem though). As serzenus mentioned I was able to login easily the first time, but once I logged out and tried to get back in I had to try crazy combinations of clicking to get it to go in. Sometimes I just had to attempt to login over and over until it took or I would just have to restart the PC. It is odd indeed. I know mangos never gives me any problems logging in. Heck if there was some way the mangos server could eliminate the issue of having mobs walking in and out of terrain and bouncing around then I wouldn't even be trying antrix, but I had read somwhere that antrix didn't have that problem which was why I even bothered to try it in the first place.

All I could suggest is just double checking to make sure your settings are all correct and that you don't have any kind of firewall wall (whether built into the router or via software on your pc) blocking your packets.

Well, my problem is kinda related to this. I'm stuck at Authenticating. I'm using Chaos Repack and my version is 2.1.1 (6739).

yep i was stuck on this for ages... seems to happen alot when you log into a server on the same pc as ur playing on ... i installed server on another pc in the house and it worked straight away.

hmmm i can connect to the server fine on the same machine i.e. "localhost" but my friends cant as they keep getting the "logging into game server" message window ... they see the realm fine but just cant log onto it ... i have the ips in the conf's set to 0.0.0.0 accept ISHost= 127.0.0.1 <--- could that be the issue ... i dont know

When that happens to me, I just put all of the server files in a different folder, and it works fine.


As for the commands, I have this .txt in my server folder, with all the commands and what they do...

ip should not be 127.0.0.1, for realmlist(in db) use your actual ip. then go to your c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc folder and open the hosts file in notepad. add the following line:

127.0.0.1 x.x.x.x


x is your actual ip address. if you use dynamic addressing this will change frequently.
this line tells your computer that 127.0.0.1 is also x.x.x.x you will need to restart windows after changing the hosts file though! lemme know how it goes...

there is also teleport command but instead of .tele or .teleport or .port

its .recall port location

The question is: are they working?
