I'm fairly new to working with Kal servers and just had a few questions before I get started. This isn't a "help me, I have an error" thread so don't worry.
Looking through the releases section I mainly see server repacks that contain a lot of custom items added in to the server. Are there are clean releases out there? Any files with no customized items, just purely retail content. Just about everything I browse through has some kind of custom content added to it and I honestly don't like that.
The last time I played Kal was a couple years ago, long ago enough to where I can only remember the basics of the game. How advanced are the files here? Are they the same version that was being ran on the retail Kal server a couple years ago or have they been updated to the latest retail updates?
My last thought, looking at these client links, which client would I need to download? I want an English client, obviously, but which version is more compatable with the most cleaned files here; v060523 or v071908?
