Lost 1200+ gamerscore :(!

Hi,

Lately I been on my xbox a fair bit, had a few new games and so forth so ide figure ide try my luck at completing a few games.. so i did;

Lost planet
Prey
the darkness...

gaining me 1200 point, anyways, signed into xbox live to update my score and well it said I had an error, I phoned technical stat and they said that if i recovered my tag that i wouldnt loose my score as it will automatically syncronize so I do it..

BOOM.. my score reduces to 2747 and the lady basically says im a liar, even though ive given her the exact score, and how I obtained them... I get put through to another guy, on the phone for over an hour tryign to sort it but they said that the technicians stated that its IMPOSSIBLE for this to happen yet it happened to me.... and if i check my saved games, my stuff is all there bar the gamerscore.



Annoying. from 394x to 2747... gutting. Put in a complaint and the manager is to get back to me

Check Lost Planet, I used the last game save and look right at the boss, but wait, where are the other achievements? HEHEH. Silly xbox.

Also, you should add a mod for VB to show people's GT under the Posts: field.

Unfortunaly recovering gamertags are known to cause issues, and frankly it's not that weird either, i mean if you can't login, then your latest data isn't on their servers, if you recover it then the data comes from their servers.

The reason why you couldn't login is definetly very strange. As for the support, well they're often assholes, and even though there is little they can do about it, they should never accuse or imply anyone of lying, crap like that should cost them their job.

Anyway it sucks. The weirdest thing about it that it really sucks, if you had asked me a year ago then i would have said "who gives a ****, it's just a number", but having gained finally over 10k myself i can say that it really does suck to lose GS.

I love having a Gamertag, But not playing Xbox live anymore! I use to be a Top pro in Ghost recon 2.

Btw incase you are wondering, i got no games that i bought for GS, nor do i play games for GS, i just got a lot of them, 28 atm and 2 already that been paid but have to be shipped (Two Worlds and Halo 3)

The 360 offers by far the largest amount of quality games of the 3, ofcourse you can have different preferences, but still.

I'm not that rich.

When i pay my education (still have to get the bill) and bought my plane ticket (still gotta do it) then i don't have much left.

Last month i spend roughly 950 euro, harman/kardon receiver for 300, Qtek 9100 (phone/pocket pc) for 260, about 150 on clothes and the rest on games (including PGR 3 + Steering Wheel)

I got a load of games when I went on holiday. Got loads of GS from Gears of War, Oblivion and BioShock.

We should start staying up until dawn playing Live Arcade games

It's already out, the reason why i'm waiting is because there were problems with the shipments for the Collectors Edition.
