M2 Server: Issues with Saving DB and Store Access Mir2

get this in the m2 server

[12/03/2007 12:25:16] [RunDB] Save DB Timed Out...
[12/03/2007 12:25:17] [RunDB] Save DB Timed Out...
[12/03/2007 12:25:20] [RunDB] Save DB Timed Out...
[12/03/2007 12:25:23] [RunDB] Save DB Timed Out...

and some people saying that they can't get items out of store.
 
there any way to change the amount of RAM /CPU power each program uses
 
not really
there are some things you can check:
- make sure you NEVER run the client on the same computer as your server
(basicaly server computers should only be running the server stuff nothing else)
- dont use vnc (or try to avoid using it to much at least), vnc drains the cpu
- dont use the m2servers reload functions they only cause problems, if you edit things then reboot dont reload it's BAD
- dont bother letting ms sql do full logging only let it do basic loging (unless you're some really pro ms sql admin who can actionly read these logs which i can tell you is rather hard and complicated, aka nobody ever does it)
