Making a character Mir3

I have my own server but when other people try to make a character they get a error saying: host didnt respond bla bla ??

now what?

i not very good with these things but i do know that 1 of ur gates are down, most likely the char gate or logingate, u need to check ur gates if any of them arent like this --][-- then u need to close ur server down and get them fixed cos that is the problem

Are you behind a router? Is the server still running on 127.0.0.1 - this is local only to the machine so wont work on the net - tell me how you connect to the net (modem plugged into machine etc) and ill give more advice.
