And I'm quite bored so I came up with this discussion.

I think both are great.

Manga: 'cause it shows the mangaka's talent, both Story and Art.
Anime: simply 'cause it's awesome to watch your favorite manga animated.

you my friend lack a sense of humor..

basically i think about it like this

Film or reading the book
Anime or reading the manga

im more of a Film person, not that i dislike reading, but its just so unanimated, theres no movement...

people will say anime sucks because of the fillers they put in, then just skip the fillers or keep reading manga

i watch the fillers, why? im a hardcore anime fan, no manga poop for me. and reading from right to left...really not interested.

on a sidenote : Hentai...really sucks, sounds/moans are even worse than porn.

oh and xitra, when i said Anime FTW, i thought i got my point across, but still you manage to not understand and tell me to READ hentai. read something twice before you comment something

nah, i love anime in general, but like im pretty old compared to most people that watch animes/read manga's, i dont want to watch series like astroboy or yeah you get what i mean, i'll never say no fanservice though!:
30 series is something i just cannot do, once i start one, i tend to finish it before watching another one, unless its an ongoing one, like right now im watching highschool DxD prince of tennis II and zero no tsukaima 4.
Although i must admit, not every anime ends, and thats where the manga comes in handy, ive watched Ichigo 100% and i know that the anime was far from the ending plot, i still wont read the manga, i thoroughly dislike manga's.
as you said, everyone has his/her likes and dislikes, and it is up to us to respect that.

Both are good on its own ways,

Just like anime, which is good because its animated and everything, but most anime's are limited to its storyline and most anime's have only 12 episodes,
While manga goes up to its latest storyline but doesn't have any animations to it,
