Mangos big pack file help

Hi

i downloaded the full pack, the big file, i did everything it says in the readme file. When i login i get this error:

To view the content, you need to sign in or register

Do i need the expansion or what?

Is it because im using client version 2.0.12.6546 ?

But why? Why do i need the expansion? Why doesnt it say on mango server pack that you need the expansion?
