MBR to GPT with backup

Hey guys! Currently I'm on Windows 10 pro x64, UEFI and 1TB HDD blah blah. But it's MBR.
I wan't move to GPT, but I can't lost my backups (second partition) which is about 800gb
I don't have a second HDD. What I do?

Back up all your data to an external drive and run diskpart to convert it. Alternatively, you can run Gptgen to convert it and (hopefully) not lose data. In my opinion the safe bet is just back it up and run diskpart since Gptgen is rather complicated.

If I had a GPT HDD, could I format only the Windows partition? No conversion from gpt to mbr
