Me And My Band

Thank you mate we will improove our skills with your advices... Btw it's 1.5 month we started playing..But we will grow!!

Be sure to tune up all using the same guitar tuner, one problem my band had recently when we started recording material was that we used two different tuning systems, and one of them was out so sadly one of the instruments was out compared to the others.

That may be the reason why it sounds "strange"... Thanks... We are looking for a singer... Those one is a guitarist arranged... Btw do we have to change something else?

I guess that strange sound is because its out of tune, if you are worried about vocals, considering playing the song in a key suitable to the vocalist, maybe by using a cappo on all the guitars, try placing the cap on F#sharp and see if it sounds different :).

You need a fluid, almost-swaying motion when you hitting chords like that, it should come from the elbow, not the wrist. + Sounds boring when all you're doing is down-stroking. Plus as Mental said. there's something out of tune there + I've noticed a lot of sloppiness with muting (which could be that 'strange noise'.
The vocalist changes key a lot. Try having a go at alternate picking too, as in Dakota, it seemed very bland.

In this situation, I'd sit down each instrumentalist, ask them toi go through the song, and then advise him on ways to improve. Go around the band until you've ironed everything on. Rehearse as a band again, then working on rhythm/timing.

Keep at it, you'll get it eventually.

Actually the action should come from the wrist not the elbow, as the elbow position really needs to be locked IMO.

I've always been taught to play from the elbow when playing something with the same beat, over and over (like, songs made of only a few chords). The only wrist-action I'd do when strumming chords over and over would be to change the angle of my pick when alternating between down and up picking.

If you're going to have someone play bongos I suggest they learn how to actually tune and play it.

Also vocals need a lot of work.

No way....The only time you lock your elbow is when you're playing fast palm mutes...

On acoustic you should almost always use your elbow.

Decent, not too great though.

Lots of things that need to be improved have been said already :)
