Migrating Database Question

Hey, I'm not very good at SQL Server stuff, but I got a newer DB i want to use, only I have a lot of characters/accounts/etcs on the one i currently have, I'd like to know if it's possible to like get the new DB and keep my characters.... Anyone?

umm isn't there some kind of dump command? or do those people who hack DBs dump the tables with some kind of program?
