Well, last night I was up pretty late and one of those paid service infomercials came on, and they were selling The Complete Motown Collection. At first, I was going to change on, and then a catchy tune came on. It was some song by The Temptations.

Now I knew about Motown, but I had never actually listened to it. I watched that infomercial for about 30 minutes, just so I could listen to all the different catchy songs that were about 15 seconds long.

Today, I started searching up son some old Motown artists, and man, I actually really like this music. Groups like The Temptations, The Supremes, The Marvelettes, Little Stevie Wonder, The Jackson 5, Marvin Gaye, etc. They are all great! Maybe it's just me, because I am a fan of the old sounding music.

Personally, the Motown music of the 60's and 70's have really opened my eyes to a new era/genre of music that I had really never experienced. Thanks to my insomnia!

I couldn't get passed me mother liking them. Strictly when it comes to music if my mother likes it, I don't.

Oh no dude, I've heard of them, and some of their songs (the more popular ones), but I never actually took the time to listen to more of their work.
