Mssql 2000

it happened to me several times, the MSSQL was working just fine for few weeks or sometimes over a month.and then i turned my computer on and in the icon tile in the bottum of the screen the MSSQL icon was showing the red square that its not wroking, so i tried to start it and it wouldn't start :/it only works if i reinstall MSSQL :\someone knows whats the prob?

nop, nothing, i always run it on start and today i saw its not wrokign :/ with the red square.

nop, i press and it doesnt do anything :\
the wired thing is that it happened to me few times.
its annoying.
